Update

So, I am terrible at keeping up a blog. Since it has been so long since I last updated I thought I should write something.

Yes, We finally got rid of all our puppies. In fact we even gave away our mommy dog. We just weren't giving her the attention she needed. So we found a good new home for her. She is no longer Susie - now she is Hannah.

It was nice to have summer to spend time with the boys. We did swimming lessons, visited with Nana & Grandpa in Susanville, and just spent some time at home.

Now I am back at work teaching 1st grade. The good news is that my class is a lot more manageable than last year. I think it will be a good year. Hunter is in second grade this year and has discovered that he really enjoys reading. Wyatt has started Kindergarten this year and is not quite sure if he even likes school yet. Colton is enjoying spending the days at the taxidermy shop with dad.

We are expecting our 4th boy in December. No we haven't decided on any names yet - any suggestions are welcome.

Brent recently returned from a hunting trip in Africa and is looking forward to going back in the future.

One of these days I will actually upload some pictures of the boys.

May

Our puppies are now 6 weeks old. Two more weeks and I can start sending them off to their new homes. I can't believe how quickly they grow. I would upload pictures but my camera is in my classroom. It seems like whenever I need the camera at home it is at school, and when I need it at school it is at home.

The boys are doing well. Wyatt finished his first t-ball season and did okay. Our biggest challenge was keeping him from wandering off the field in the middle of the inning. Hunter has only 2 more games left in his first season in little league. It is amazing how quickly he is growing up. Colton enjoys watching his older brothers and keeps me busy chasing him around the ball fields.

Only one more month of school. I am so ready for a break. Unfortunately I agreed to teach summer school this year for some unknown reason. I guess it was the ideas of a little extra money to pay our bills.

April

Well this is a new experiment for me. I am not very good at being consistent about keeping in touch with anyone. So don't expect me to add to this blog very often. Just an update for those who I have neglected to keep in touch with.

I am still working full-time as a teacher. I am currently teaching 1st grade (but I taught Kindergarten for 7 years before graduating to 1st.)

I have 3 very active boys that keep me busy when I am not at school. Hunter is 6 and in the 1st grade this year. Wyatt is 4 and will be starting Kindergarten in the fall. Colton just turned 2 and is talking up a storm.

I just started spring break - so I might be able to add some fun photos to this blog during the week. We'll see how far I get finishing the laundry, dishes, bills, taxes, correcting papers from school, etc....
